Our frontline workers and organizations need people to join them and aid in this effort.

Due to the restrictions necessitated by the COVID-19 crisis, many health workers find themselves without work. At the same time, the health care facilities, long term care facilities, and local boards of health fighting the virus need varying levels of trained and experienced workers to aid in their effort. The Commonwealth has created two portals to help connect these workers with these opportunities.

MA Responds

MA Responds is a portal to connect health care volunteers willing to assist local health and safety officials. Volunteers — including clinical and non-clinical, students, and active or retired professionals — can sign up to help. You can learn more and apply at the link below.

Long-Term Care Facility Staffing Portal

There is a critical need for long-term care staffing, especially nurses and nurses' aides. The Long-Term Care Facility Staffing system is a database through which individuals can sign up for volunteer and paid opportunities in skilled nursing, assisted living, and long-term care facilities.
